The culture of khashar in the education of the young generation in Uzbekistan

Abstract. The tradition of hashar is one of the oldest customs in Uzbek culture. According to the Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language, «khashar» (التجزئة — meeting, conference) means voluntary and selfless participation in the implementation of any task. This heritage has deep historical roots and important cultural significance for the people of Uzbekistan.
The main problem discussed in the study is related to the preservation and development of this tradition in the context of globalization and social change. In particular, the authors discuss issues of cultural identity, social cohesion and education of the younger generation through participation in hashar.
The article provides a historical context of hashar, describes its roots and evolution over the centuries. Then it talks about the modern appearance of hashar in Uzbekistan, where it takes the form of organized mass events aimed at improving territories and supporting socially significant projects. Also, the scientific work reveals the importance of hashar as a tool of folk pedagogy and its influence on the education of moral and patriotic values in young people.
Sociological studies are analyzed, the results of which confirm the significant interest of society in national traditions and customs. Most respondents consider them important for cultural and religious education.
The relevance of studying this topic lies in the need to preserve cultural traditions and national identity in a rapidly changing world. The article focuses on the importance of passing on these traditions to future generations and their role in the education of a spiritually and morally developed individual.
