Abstract. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the interest of Uzbek youth in higher education abroad, considers the main trends and prospects for admission to leading global universities. The study includes a statistical analysis of the current rates of admission of Uzbek students to foreign universities, as well as identifying factors influencing the choice of educational institutions and educational programs. It also discusses the problems and obstacles that Uzbek applicants face when entering universities abroad, and suggests possible ways to overcome them. The article uses methods of sociological survey, data analysis and comparative analysis to achieve the stated goals.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the trends in the admission of Uzbek students to foreign universities, identify the factors influencing their choice, and determine the problems and obstacles they face.

Statistical analysis showed an increase in the number of Uzbek students studying in foreign universities. The main countries attractive to Uzbek youth, as well as the most popular areas of study, are identified. The analysis showed that the choice of an educational institution is influenced by both socio-economic factors (family income level, tuition fees), and academic and personal preferences (university prestige, desired specialty, opportunity to study a foreign language).

The main problems for Uzbek applicants are administrative and bureaucratic barriers, financial difficulties and the language barrier.

The article predicts a further increase in the interest of Uzbek youth in foreign education. Recommendations are offered for educational institutions of Uzbekistan and the government of the country aimed at facilitating the admission of Uzbek students to world universities.
