Abstract. Social restrictions of people with disabilities at different historical stages of development of society had ambiguous conclusions regarding the processes of interaction in relation to such special people. Currently, the essence of self-identification and self-realization of people with disabilities is expressed in the diversity and inconsistency of such aspects as a comfortable and accessible social environment, active interaction, building interactions with other people, and getting used to society.
The influence of the social environment in the formation of personality is a large process in which the social conditions of people’s life play a huge role. A person’s character is formed under the influence of various circumstances, his picture of the world is formed in the conditions of various social institutions of society. And as a context: «…if a person’s character is formed by circumstances, then they must be human…». The center of cultural space in time is the subject. The integration of an individual into the social institutions of society forms his cultural picture of the world and organizes life processes. The need to single out the subject as a center is due to the fact that a person organizes spatio-temporal continuity and creates a constructor for his perception of the past, present and future in relation to the norms accepted in society. Culture holistically expresses the socialization of the subject, ensuring his ability to regulate activity; it specifies the possibility of such structural diversity, thanks to which the formation of the subject as an individual is ensured. A person, in the process of his social life, acquires vital qualities that are not programmed at the genetic level. And in similar social conditions, each individual demonstrates opposing aspirations.
