Abstract. This article is devoted to the study of the positive effects of breast milk on the health and development of a child. The main objective of the study is to analyze the benefits of breast milk, its composition, effect on the immune system and overall development of the child based on scientific studies and articles. The article presents articles by Uzbek and international researchers, including Khudayberdyeva Sh., Rasulov B., Ismailova Z., Abdullaeva N., Yakubov R., Ivanova O., Petrova A., Sidorov V., Kuznetsova E. and Morozovoy T. Such scientists as scientific papers cited.
The article consists of four chapters. The first chapter analyzes the general benefits of breast milk, its composition and role in strengthening the baby’s immune system. The second chapter compares Uzbek and international studies. Third, the social and economic benefits of breastfeeding are reviewed. The fourth chapter is devoted to the problems of breastfeeding and ways to overcome them.
One of the key topics of the work is the composition of breast milk, which contains essential nutrients, antibodies and enzymes that help the baby grow healthy and protected from various infections. This milk promotes the development of the brain and nervous system, ensuring optimal development of cognitive abilities.
The second chapter focuses on a comparative analysis of Uzbek and international studies, which demonstrates that breast milk is recognized as an important component of early childhood nutrition in different cultures and countries. Various studies show that children who are breastfed have higher levels of health and resistance to disease compared to those who are bottle-fed.
The third chapter examines the social and economic aspects of breastfeeding, emphasizing its role in reducing health care costs, as breastfed children are less likely to get sick and require medical attention. In addition, breastfeeding strengthens the bond between mother and child, which has a positive effect on the psychological state of both.
The fourth chapter focuses on various problems that mothers may face while breastfeeding, such as lack of information, lactation problems and social pressure. This chapter offers solutions and recommendations to overcome these problems, including the importance of support from health professionals and the community at large.
The final part of the article summarizes the general benefits and advantages of breastfeeding, and also briefly summarizes the results of Uzbek and international studies. This article will help to better understand the importance of breastfeeding and expand existing scientific knowledge on this issue. Additionally, the work highlights the importance of supporting and educating mothers for successful breastfeeding, and the need to develop policies that support this process. Thus, this study not only highlights the importance of breast milk for infant health, but also suggests concrete ways to improve breastfeeding practices at different levels of society.
