Customs and traditions of Uzbekistan in the life of our country

Abstract. This article discusses the issue of Uzbek folk customary practice. The customs and traditions of the Uzbek people have been of great importance for centuries in the formation of the Uzbek nation and the life of the Uzbek family. The independence of our country has opened up every opportunity for us to prove ourselves in the world and in any field where we can gain technical and scientific knowledge. A people without customs and traditions has no history.

The article examines various aspects of Uzbek traditions, their historical development and role in the formation of national identity. Particular attention is paid to the following topics:

1. Historical context: an overview of the historical development of Uzbek customs and traditions, from ancient times to the present day. The influence of various civilizations and cultures that passed through the territory of modern Uzbekistan is considered.
2. Family traditions: analysis of family customs and traditions, such as matchmaking, weddings, childbirth and upbringing. The rituals and ceremonies that accompany important life events, their symbolic meaning and role in strengthening family ties are described.
3. Religious rituals: consideration of religious traditions and their influence on the daily life of Uzbeks. The main religious holidays, such as Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and associated customs are described.
4. Culinary traditions: study of unique Uzbek culinary traditions, such as cooking pilaf, samsa, lagman and other national dishes. Describes the meaning of food in a cultural context and the role of gastronomy in social interaction.
5. Folklore and folk arts: a description of the rich folklore heritage of Uzbekistan, including folk songs, dances, fairy tales and legends. The influence of folklore on contemporary art and cultural life of the country is analyzed.
6. Holidays and festivals: description of national holidays and festivals, such as Navruz, and their significance for Uzbek society. Examines how holidays contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage and strengthening social cohesion.
7. Traditions of hospitality: a detailed examination of the customs of hospitality, their roots and manifestations in modern life. Describes how hospitality reflects the values and morals of the Uzbek people.
8. Modern changes: discussion of changes in traditions and customs under the influence of globalization and urbanization. It examines how modern technologies and social changes affect the preservation and adaptation of traditional values.

One of the main characteristics of every Uzbek family is respect for elders and hospitality.
