Changes in the problem-solving process before and after the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) tools are analyzed. New skills for the user and tasks for developing user-friendly AI tools are substantiated. Based on the analysis of observations of IA use in 2022\u20132025, it is shown that cognitive effort does not decrease but is redistributed: the main focus shifts from the execution stage to prompt formulation and critical verification of results. The phenomena of AI mentalizing, cognitive trust traps, and the need for developing special quality metrics are described. Recommendations are formulated for educational programs to overcome blind trust in agents and directions for developing adaptive interfaces that take into account the user&#8217;s state. Four key skills are identified: critical verification, task decomposition, prompt formulation, and AI mentalizing.
