Abstract. Small and medium-sized businesses play an important role in the economy of Uzbekistan, creating jobs, stimulating economic growth and increasing competitiveness. This article analyzes the factors contributing to the success of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan.
The article analyzes the state policy on the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan. The author assesses the effectiveness of existing measures to support small and medium-sized businesses and offers recommendations for their improvement. Particular attention is paid to the issues of creating a favorable business environment, expanding access to finance and stimulating innovation.
In addition, the author suggests measures to improve the skills and education of entrepreneurs so that they can successfully compete in the market and create new jobs.
The article provides a theoretical understanding of the key factors contributing to the success of small and medium-sized businesses in Uzbekistan, including public policy, access to finance, infrastructure, human capital development, access to markets and the introduction of technology. The study uses a multi-level approach combining the analysis of macroeconomic data and micro-level cases. Quantitative analysis is complemented by qualitative methods, which allows for a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The purpose of the study is to develop substantiated recommendations for improving public policy in support of entrepreneurship. The results of the study emphasize the importance of a comprehensive approach to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, which includes creating a favorable regulatory environment, improving access to finance and technology, and developing human capital. The article uses a literature review method, as well as statistical data analysis.
