Abstract. The article is devoted to the current problem of cybercrimes committed by minors and examines the key aspects of this topic. In recent years, the role of information technology has increased significantly, due to the active introduction of digital technologies into various spheres of society. However, along with the positive impact of technology, their use for illegal purposes is also growing. Cybercrimes, in particular those committed by minors, have become one of the most significant threats. Social engineering methods, the use of neural networks, and hacking of gaming accounts play a special role in the commission of such crimes. Teenagers with technical skills are increasingly involved in malware creation, cyber attacks, and hacking. The reasons for this phenomenon may be both the influence of youth subcultures and the lack of organized leisure activities, which leaves young people looking for activity on the Internet. Another important factor is the lack of understanding of the legal consequences of their actions. The article highlights the need for educational initiatives in the field of information security. Prevention, involvement of parents, educators, and law enforcement agencies play a key role in combating the growing number of cybercrimes. The author insists on a comprehensive approach to solving the problem, which includes not only technical skills training, but also the formation of responsibility among teenagers for their actions in cyberspace. The growth of cybercrime among minors raises issues of law enforcement and prevention. In order to reduce crime, it is important to introduce measures that will help young people understand how their actions affect others and what consequences they may have for themselves.
