Research of the feeling of patriotism on the example of the Tatar-Bashkir population of the Perm territory

Abstract. The article presents the results of a study of the feeling of patriotism of citizens of the Russian Federation on the example of residents of the Perm Territory. The author of the article is a Tatar, a native of the Perm Territory, based on her interests, studies the attitude to patriotism in children, young people, and representatives of the older generation. The main goal of the author is: to conduct a study aimed at studying the feeling of patriotism, the presence of a value attitude in the family to the memory of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the attitude of respondents to the Special Military Operation, factors influencing the upbringing of children in the spirit of patriotism and love for the Motherland.

The study used two author’s questionnaires «Are you a patriot?» and «Patrioticism of Muslims of the Perm Territory», the respondents of which were 100 children aged 7 to 15 years, 100 adults aged 23 to 70 years. All interviewers live in the Perm region. The analysis of the population census data is presented, where the Tatars of the region occupy the second place, and the Bashkirs the fourth place in terms of population in the region, and the majority of them are Muslims, which allows us to see how modern representatives of Islam convey the attitude to the Motherland, native land, prescribed by the Koran, the holy book of Muslims. The question «What do you think influences the formation of patriotic qualities in a person?» turned out to be one of the key questions for respondents of all ages. Most of the answers of the adult group included the statements «upbringing in the family», «love for the small Motherland», «knowledge and transmission of their traditions», representatives of the children’s group spoke about «insufficient knowledge about Russia», «lack of information», «desire to travel around the country and get acquainted with its beauty». Children noted that the formation of patriotic feelings is influenced by the environment (family, school, society in which the child lives).
